Youth Ministries

Youth ministries at Church of the Good Shepherd are alive and thriving. Guests at CGS immediately notice the young people who stake out the first four rows—no slouching in the back for CGS youth!

Wednesday Evening

  • The Plunge (grades 6-8) and Unleashed (grades 9-12)
  • Includes worship, discipleship and fellowship
  • Corporately and in small groups, youth are challenged to know Jesus personally and to live daily as Christ-like servant-leaders

Throughout the Year
CGS youth view the world as a mission field, striving to reach their schools, the local community and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Volunteering at the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission
  • Ministering through MIMETime
  • Serving on short-term mission trips to Chicago; Louisiana; Montréal, Canada; and Matamoras, Mexico
